i’ve been trying 4m Last week, but to hail NO USE.
i’ve installed UBUNTU 4 first time, but was unable 2 understand it.
i don’t know where to add new device 4m; i want to connect net thru My LG-GD510(POP) using TATA.DOCOMO.INTERNET.
but when connected by USB cable it shows no response, thugh my Display adapter, sound onboard is automatically recognized. i also don’t know how to install anything in UBUNTU; ‘coz if i download anything n install it shows ‘dependancies’ error.
i am only able 2 install VLC player in it(downloaded 4m net, extracted it and run *.sh file in it which is automatic installation in its terminal window similar to DOS)
Please help how to connect net using my LG POP, someone told me that internet speed is faster on Linux that’s why i’m trying UBUNTU (its Look attracted me, seems awesome but don’t no how to operate or use it.)
Thanks Bro after searching all over net got Ur this site [iyappan], U seems south indian, no prbLm.
Thanx again.
Thanks for the comments and welcome to the world of Linux. Just go to the terminal in your linux and become root and type lsusb which will display the list of usb devices attached to the PC / Laptop. By the PID displayed just follow the same instructions as for configuring Samsung Corby Speed SCH -F339.
Please let me know if you have any issues
